Places To Stay – Boondooma Dam, Proston, QLD

Lynda Fletcher has shared this Campground Camp with us.  Here is what she had to say about it.

We had a lovely couple of days at Boondooma Dam (west of Kingaroy )

Not free $24/night unpowered (with spotless amenities if u need) but it was so hot & once we saw the water we just had to stay one night! 180-degree water views when u r away from the coast was worth it.

About 20km North West of Proston is Boondooma Dam.  There are a couple of campgrounds located right by the water’s edge.  The lake is popular for fishing and water sports.  It just makes it into our Campground Category, but has lots of facilities, including a Kiosk.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Un-powered: starts $15/pp $10 pp, $5 per child, 2xadults $24
Powered: from $30/2pp(area 1) $35/2pp (closer to the water)
