Free Range Camping Update – April 2015

Free Range Camping Update – April 2015

It was time we provided an update for all of our eager followers as to when the release of the directory will be made.

We have been busy importing more and more free camps into the directory and now with the VIC Government’s decision to wipe out camping fees for 500 sites, we now have an additional 500 locations to import.  At present, the look of the free camps is looking very healthy with well over 450 of them in there.

New Search

We have been working on a new and better search function so that our members can really narrow down their search when using the directory.  We were thinking of releasing the directory with the old search function, but thought it would be better if we had the new one.

Digital Card

Another part of the holdup is some custom coding that we have been conducting with the digital card and businesses.  There were some technical hurdles we have had to encounter, but we have worked around that and will be commencing business signups in the next few days.

Release

Starting next week, we will be releasing access to the free component of the directory to those that have used our sign-up form.  To date, we have over 10,000 registered users, so everyone who has registered will be receiving their usernames and password to the email address they used to register.
