Podcast Episode 2: Interview with Steele Johnston, Director of Drought Angels Charity – Helping those in need in the Outback

In this episode, we chat with Steele Johnston, one of the Directors of Drought Angels.  Drought Angels provides a unique service for which it is has become well known within the rural sector.

In particular, the work they do in assisting farmers and workers of the outback, that have been affected by the ongoing drought and hardship.

Established in 2014 by Friends Tash and Nicki,  the organisation was born from the need to simply help those in southwestern QLD, after seeing first-hand the heartbreaking struggle of farmers.  Starting from a shed in their backyard, Drought Angels has grown to their own warehouse, where their volunteers reach and assist those in western Queensland, new south wales, Victoria and South Australia.

Steele is the husband of founding director Tash, and moved into running operations, upon the expansion of Drought Angels.
