The Grey Nomads Awards 2021 | Nominees, 4th March 2022

The Grey Nomad Awards finalists were unveiled yesterday, recognising tourism businesses that best cater to mature age travellers around Australia.

The Grey Nomad Awards, according to Awards Director Kim Morgan, give reliable information that assists senior tourists in making decisions about where to visit, stay, and play.

The Awards highlight those operators and locations who are going above and beyond to provide grey nomads an exceptional experience,” Morgan says. “After such a hard two years for the tourism sector and destinations that rely on tourist incomes, all finalists are to be applauded.

The number of organisations who submitted more than one category, she noted, shows that these Awards are recognised and make an impact.

Unfortunately, not everyone who enters can be successful,” Morgan explained, “since there is both a minimal bar for being considered as a finalist and a maximum of just six finalists declared in any category.

By this, we mean that we wish to recognise the accomplishments of all of our entrants, not just these finalists.

The Grey Nomad Awards are judged by senior tourism professionals, some of whom have personal experience with the grey nomad lifestyle, thus being selected a finalist has more weight.
