Free Camping at Big Red Bash Festival 2017

The Birdsville Big Red Bash 2017, promises an action packed three days full of music, entertainment, desert drag races, indigenous craft workshops, and fun for the whole family in a unique location.

Don’t miss out the three day feast of entertainment at the most remote music festival, the Big Red Bash Festival in the heart of Australia’s outback! It will take place from 4 – 6 July 2017, at the Big Red desert dune near Birdsville, Queensland, and it is opened for anyone who wants to feel the excitement of the festival camping. The campsite has a great vibe, and it have granted concert goers special privilege to camp here during the Birdsville Big Red Bash 2017 only, since camping on this accredited private property is usually not permitted in regular days.

The line up of this fifth edition will feature some of Australia’s best-loved country and rock musicians, including:  James Reyne, Lee Kernaghan, Missy Higgins, and Mark Seymour; as well as Christie Lamb, Ian Moss, James Blundell, Kate Ceberano, Ray Ryder, Russell Morris, Tania Kernaghan, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, and Troy Cassar-Daley.

The Birdsville Big Red Bash celebrates the best of Queensland and promises an iconic experience for all campers and visitors.

Please note that in case you were planning to camp as part of a large group coming out with several different vehicles and campsites, you will need to arrive to the Bash together, as “saving” a spot for a friend won’t be allowed for a later arrival. Another useful campsite rules and guidelines for the safety and comfort of everyone are available here.
