While you are staying in Murwillumbah, the perfect place to visit to view first-rate exhibitions and magnificent panoramic views is the Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre. The Gallery Shop is also the perfect place to purchase yourself some amazing gifts and at the same time, you will be supporting the gallery and its regional artisans.

The shop, located in the main foyer is open during the galleries opening hours of 10.00am – 5.00pm, Wednesday to Sunday and offers over 500 unique products for sale. There is a wonderful range of Margaret Olley branded products produced by the Gallery and featuring works from the Gallery’s collection, including posters, cards, books, bookmarks, calendars and catalogues designed to inspire the creative and to suit all budgets. The shop also sells a beautiful range of one-off items hand-crafted by local artists….visitors will be tempted by exquisite ranges of jewellery, ceramics, timber products, glassware, handmade cards and much more.

The Gallery’s volunteer support organisation, Friends of Tweed Regional Gallery and MOAC, has its own section in the store where they showcase a vibrant ceramic collection from South Africa and a woman’s accessories collection from Paris. Note books and diaries from the UK complete this product range.

The profits that the retail outlet produces are channelled back to the Gallery for the expansion of the Exhibitions Program, Public Programs and the Educational Programs that the Galley offers to the public free of charge. Visitors can feel good about knowing they are supporting the facility while at the same time picking up a special memento of their visit.

HOW TO GET THERE
Head south on Tweed Valley Way to South Murwillumbah. Follow Tweed Valley Way then turn right onto Mistral Road. After approx 50 metres, you will see the gallery on the hill. There are two entrances with the first best for larger vehicles.

SITE ACCESS
Parking for Caravans and Motorhomes is in the off street car park on Mistral Road, the entrance approx 150 metres before the gallery in the. Undercover parking spaces on the lower level of the Gallery that includes disabled parking opposite the lift. A lift and set down area is also available close to the front doors. For RV’s and caravans to turn around just come up and do a loop through the gallery.
