Mount Warning Tours offers an amazing assortment of River Tours & Cruises, Outdoor Adventures and Sightseeing & Foodie Tours in Australia’s Green Cauldron.

We specialise in providing cruises on the Tweed River on our newly renovated ‘ Spirit of Woolumbin’ around the iconic Mount Warning, the World Heritage listed Border Ranges and the picturesque Tweed Valley.  So if you are staying in Murwillumbah for a few days, make sure to stop by and spend a few hours exploring the amazing Tweed River.

THE HERITAGE CRUISE
Perfect for anyone interested in the Geological, Indigenous and settlement history of the area. The three hour cruise will commence from Tumbulgum to Murwillumbah Township with a 30 minutes stop off at the World Heritage Rainforest Information Centre, Drinks and Nibbles on board, and is followed by an excellent meal at one of the local Tumbulgum eateries.

THE SCENIC RIVER CRUISE
This three hour cruise is ideal for people who love nature and wildlife. It provides serene experience along the banks of Rous River, the Tweed River, and through four World Heritage National Parks that surround the area.  It includes drinks and nibbles on board and is followed by sumptuous meal at one of the local Tumbulgum eateries.

STOTT’S ISLAND & SUNSET RIVER CRUISES
The four hour cruise takes you to an exceptional journey of the Tweed River passing the 350 acre protected nature reserve, most of it is made up of very rare pocket of Riparian Subtropical Flood Plain Rainforest, with abundant bird life. Big bonus would be the brilliant sunset reflecting on the river and featuring the well known Mt. Warning and the surrounding National Parks. The cruise includes drinks & nibbles on board, and during daylight saving hours becomes a Cocktail Cruise which includes Champagne and cocktails.

HOW TO GET THERE
Each cruise departs from the jetty off Riverside Drive @ Tumbulgum (Right opposite House of Gabriel restaurant) Tumbulgum can be reached from the Tweed Valley way with two turn offs, (shown on map) or north from the hills via Terranora Road.  (See video for more info). There is plenty of parking along the street right near the Jetty.

OTHER TOURS
As well as River Cruises, we also offer guided kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, hiking, 4WD and mountain biking tours. We cater for small groups and larger groups up to 50 people per cruise, sightseeing bus tours for up to 42 people, and we also offer a diverse collection of tailored small group 4WD and 6WD experiences from 4 to 10 people per tour. Our fantastic range of outdoor adventures and tours, will take you to extraordinary places to discover fabulous scenery, which many visitors to the region never get to witness.
