The Kingdom Gallery is housed in the historic Glen Clyde House a former convict built sandstone coach house in Hamilton, Tasmania. A convenient one hour from Hobart on the way to or from the west coast the gallery features a wide range of work by Tasmanian artisans and includes unique, practical, and quirky art and craft. We have work by more than 30 artisans working with Tasmanian timbers, glass, ceramics, metal, and textiles. Whether it be a memento of your trip or a gift for someone special, we have something to suit all budgets.
Before or after browsing through the gallery, stop for a relaxing cuppa or light meal in the adjoining café. Dine in the heritage rooms by a warm fire in the cooler weather. During sunny days you can enjoy the outdoor deck overlooking the garden.
Enjoy snacks, light meals, espresso coffees, and Devonshire teas. There are many who claim our scones are the best in Tasmania. All food is made on the premises and our menu features weekly specials as well as standard favourites including our Woodcutters Pie.
Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available.
Open from late September to end of April and other times by appointment. Contact us today and arrange your visit.
