This RV Stop is located only 800m East of Inglewood just off the Cunningham Highway. It is a grass area and reasonably level. Some shade is available and plenty of turning space for large rigs. The Inglewood Rest Area is about 200 metres away diagonally opposite and there is also a dump point at that location. There is a 72 hour limit at this site.
HOW TO GET THERE
Inglewood is on the Cunningham Highway (Toowoomba or Warwick to Goondiwindi route) and the RV area is adjacent to the bridge at the Eastern end of town. Just at the Western end of the bridge turn North into Alice Street and immediately turn right into the grassed area.
SITE ACCESS
This is a grass area with some hardstand closer to the fence line and plenty of turning room in dry weather.

THINGS TO DO
The centre for water activities is Lake Coolmunda situated 12 kilometres east of Inglewood on the Cunningham Highway. It boasts some very pretty picnic spots along its shores. Excellent fishing can be enjoyed from either a boat or off the shore. Freshwater fishing sports are also abundant along McIntyre Brook.
Visitors are also invited to visit and taste in shady olive groves and farms; take in the perfume and try the oils at the award-winning lavender farm; be fascinated at the local history museum (recently refurbished); have a round of golf on the well-maintained course; or a game of tennis or bowls. Lovely drives around the area provide relaxing, scenic tours.
For the more adventurous, hunting is popular (with permission) and there are a number of physically demanding sporting events throughout the year including dirt-biking endurance rides and a biathlon (swimming and running race).
Our newly opened 25m swimming pool is just the spot for an early morning swim or a dip in the middle of a hot day.
