Cradle Coast Tours based in Ulverstone Tasmania, offers a range of guided tours and sightseeing expeditions around the beautiful North Western Coast including the Cradle Coast and the Tamar Vineyards. Tours range from the world famous natural wilderness of Cradle Mountain, to the quaint village of Stanley with its unique geographic feature, The Nut, to the breathtaking Leven Canyon, or to the superb food and wine delights of the Tamar Valley plus more.

Howard, who is an experienced and certified award winning tour guide, and his wife Juliet, have owned Cradle Coast Tours for the last 15 years and offer you a unique experience no matter which tour you choose. Having lived and worked in the area for 25 years, Howard has a wealth of knowledge that only comes from personal experience.

Tours are approximately 7–8 hours in length and include pick up and drop off anywhere within a 50klm radius of Ulverstone including Devonport, Burnie and Latrobe to Wynyard. Stanley Tour
Visit the Pioneer Village Museum in Burnie, the beautiful white beaches of Boat Harbour, the town of Stanley filled with historic buildings, many over 150 years old. The major attraction of Stanley is The Nut. The Nut is a volcanic plug which affords a great view right along the coast. You can climb the winding path to the Nut’s plateau or, hop onto the chairlift for uninterrupted views of Bass Strait.

Cradle Mountain Tour
Cradle Mountain is one of the most popular and picturesque spots in all of Tasmania.
You will be in awe of the majestic scenery throughout the entire journey to and from Cradle Mountain. On the tour, you will see the glassy waters of Dove Lake where you can take a stroll along the banks, be mesmerised by the rugged mountain peaks, stunning alpine vistas, and a myriad of natural wonders while breathing in the fresh mountain air. You will also visit the Town of Murals, a unique attraction in Sheffield.

Leven Canyon Tour
Enjoy spectacular landscapes above and below ground as you visit the amazing underground world of the Gunns Plains Caves and drive through natural Tasmanian forests on the road to Leven Canyon. Take a short walk and look out over the magnificent natural canyon, hundreds of metres below and check out the view inland towards Black Bluff and the Central Highlands.

Tamar Valley Wine Tour
Journey along the Bass Highway enjoying the sights, on the way to Deloraine. You will have the chance to taste the famous cheeses from Ashgrove and visit the Raspberry Farm as you head to the Tamar Valley wine route. The route follows the river, taking in all the art, crafts, museums, pubs, cruises and multitude of vineyards this region is famous for. This is the ideal tour for everyone who loves world-class food and wine, enjoyed against the backdrop of stunning scenery.
