HOW TO GET THERE
It is located 110kms from Townsville and 20kms from the gold rich Charters Towers. Situated on the banks of the Burdekin River.

SITE ACCESS
Turn North off the Flinders Highway 600m East of the Macrossan Bridge over the Burdekin River.  This is a gravel road and after 1.3km turn left into Bivouac Junction Road; you enter the camp after about 800m.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Unpowered sites – $20 per night up to 4 people
Powered sites $25 per night up to 4 people

THINGS TO DO
You can enjoy the bush walking whilst experiencing the abundant bird and wildlife that frequent the camp. You can also enjoy the superb experience of fishing. Feeling adventurous? You can do 50 or perhaps 2 laps of our huge pool before breakfast. Grab a canoe or two or more and set up races on the mighty Burdekin River.  At Bivouac Holiday Camp you can do as much or as little as you want. It\\\’s your life, enjoy it to the full.
