Abercrombie River Camp is a beautiful, sheltered campsite located next to the Abercrombie River. The site offers free camping with basic facilities accessible to caravans and big rigs.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Abercrombie River campground is located between Goulburn and Bathurst and is to the South of the Abercrombie Caves and National Park. From the South the camp is 6.5km from Tuena, or from the North only 650m South of the Abercrombie River bridge.
SITE ACCESS
There are two turnoffs into the general area and you can stay in the upper area away from the trees (Big Rigs) or continue into the area closer to the river where there are lots of shade trees.

There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the nearest town or village.
THINGS TO DO
The river provides great opportunity for swimming, fishing, fossicking, and has number of 4WD tracks to explore.
