Let’s Go Caravan Insurance provides comprehensive cover for caravans with premiums that are competitively priced. With each policy taken out, each policyholder is eligible for either a Full Payment or Refund for FRC Yearly Premium Membership.
In addition, if you purchase a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy, you’ll be entitled to free FRC membership for the term of your policy.

Let’s Go Caravan Insurance is issued by NM Insurance and underwritten by AIG Australia. Their policies were developed following a business partnership between NM Insurance and the Caravan Industry Association of Australia.

What does the caravan policy cover?
Let’s Go Caravan Insurance covers caravans, including pop-tops, and camper trailers. They provide cover for short vacations or long term travellers, and may also have options for those wishing to rent out their caravan. You can tailor cover through a number of optional extras depending on what you need.

Covers against Theft
When out caravanning, most people want to make sure they have some cover for their caravan’s contents. Let’s Go Caravan Insurance includes some cover for loss or damage to contents, up to the value of $2,000. Sub-limits apply for items like bicycles, fishing and photographic equipment, binoculars and individual high value items.
Cover for your contents
FRC Member Bonus: The Prestige option offers automatic contents cover increased by $3,000, making a total of automatic contents cover of $5,000 (subject to the sub-limits for certain types of items).
The Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy provides automatic cover for awnings if they are permanently fixed to your caravan. So you can rest assured, if your fixed awning is damaged.
Caravans under 2 years of age are insured on an agreed value basis. This may also be possible for older caravans and will be determined in consultation between you and Let’s Go Caravan Insurance so you will know well in advance what you are covered for. Any agreed value will be shown on your policy schedule.
If your brand new caravan is totally written off within the first 2 years of its life, the policy provides for replacement of the caravan with the same or similar make and model, which can allow for any price increases in the meantime.
FRC Member Bonus: The Prestige option offers 1 extra year of replacement cover for new caravans, taking the period to 3 years.
This section of the policy allows you to undertake emergency repairs to your vehicle after an accident up to the value of $1,000 to get you back on the road. An example of where you might use this is if a panel is damaged due to an accident and you still need to drive back home. You can undertake the repair up to the cost of $1,000 and then submit a claim as soon as practicable.
This comes into its own should you be using the caravan and you are unable to use it due to damage, theft or destruction and you are more than 100km from your home. There are two levels of cover, one for short term travellers with a limit of $150 per day and $1,000 in total, and the other for people travelling for more than 6 consecutive months, with a limit of $150 per day and $2000 in total.
FRC Member Bonus: The Prestige option offers an extra $400 of cover
The advantage of this cover is that it will kick in not only when you lose food due to burnout of your fridge motor, but also if the vehicle is damaged in an accident. The cover will provide for up to $500 worth of replacement food items.

Following an accident, the last thing you would want is a clean-up bill from local authorities, but it can happen. This policy allows for up to $5,000 towards the cost of the removal of debris following an insured event.
With this policy, there is cover available up to $5,000 for reasonable costs incurred in returning your caravan home if:
►you’re unable to drive the vehicle towing the caravan due to suffering an illness or injury more than 100km from your home and
►you can provide a medical certificate confirming this or
►the vehicle towing your caravan is involved in an accident more than 100km from home and can’t be driven.
Towing Costs are covered
This cover provides for repair or replacement of the motor of electrical equipment in the event of a burnout. Predominately this will affect fridges, but may also include your air conditioner or other electrical appliances. There are limits involved, one being that the motor should be less than 15 years old, but this could still be a great benefit to have.

Flyover refers to a free standing roof construction which is demountable and moveable and permanently installed at the regular storage site of your caravan and designed to provide protection for your caravan from the elements. Cover is provided up to the amount of $2,000 following an insured event affecting your caravan.
For an extra premium, Let’s Go Caravan Insurance can also provide optional cover for things like;
Annex cover can be catered for by this policy as optional cover. It attracts an additional premium and will be noted on your policy schedule. It covers loss, damage or destruction to your annex up to the amount shown on the schedule (if it’s less than 5 years old) or its current value (if it’s more than 5 years old).

Permanent on-site caravans are not covered by the policy. However, if your caravan is a permanent on-site caravan, Let’s Go Caravan Insurance may be able to provide this as an optional cover – talk to their friendly team to discuss the options.

People are choosing to rent out their caravans when not in use as an extra way to make money. Cover for hired out caravans is not included in the policy. But, if you hire your caravan out, Let’s Go Caravan Insurance may be able to cover this as an optional cover. Talk to their friendly team to discuss the options.

Premium Membership Paid For / or Refunded
Purchase a LET’S GO CARAVAN Insurance policy through our website and receive your FRC Premium Yearly Membership for free. For a paid member, receive a refund of your Premium Membership fee (Up to a total of $44.95). Full details of this offer are below.
Free & Non Members
If you are currently a Free Member of Full Range Camping, and purchase a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy through our website, not only will you get Prestige cover, but we will pay your FRC Premium Membership fee for you (valued at up to $44.95).
Free & Non Members – Applies to Free members of Full Range Camping (FRC), or anyone that has not applied or registered for free access to FRC as a free user. Once a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy has been purchased existing Free members will be entitled to a full Premium Membership with FRC for one year and their annual membership fee of $44.95 will be paid for by us. The name and contact details of Non-Registered members will be passed by Let’s Go Caravan Insurance to FRC. A Premium Club Membership will then be generated for them. The membership fee of $44.95 will be paid for by us.
Yearly Premium Members
If you are already an Annual – Full Range Camping Premium Club Member and purchase a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy through our website, we will refund to you the fee you paid for your Annual Premium Membership, up to the value of $44.95.
‘Yearly Premium Members’ – Applies to existing Annual members of Full Range Camping (FRC), who have already paid an annual membership fee to FRC. Once a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy has been purchased, FRC will refund the original annual membership fee paid by the Annual member, up to the value of $44.95.
NOTE: In regards to annual members, if you purchase an insurance policy, your FRC Membership joining date will be adjusted so that it falls due on the date that your insurance policy will expire. Any refunds due for FRC Membership will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Lifetime Premium Members
If you are already a Lifetime – Full Range Camping Premium Club Member and purchase a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy through our website, we will refund to you the price of 1 year Annual Membership, up to the value of $44.95 or your paid lifetime premium membership fee.
Lifetime Premium Members – Applies to existing Lifetime members of Full Range Camping (FRC). Who has already paid a Lifetime membership fee to FRC. After purchasing a Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy, FRC will refund the amount equivalent to 1 year’s membership fee. It will be at the value of $44.95 or your paid lifetime premium membership fee. As Lifetime Members, as no further membership fees are due. The refund will only apply for the initial year the policy is taken out. However, Lifetime Members will still be entitled to Prestige cover with any Let’s Go Caravan Insurance policy they renew (subject to any annual premium increases that may be determined by Let’s Go Caravan Insurance).

If Let’s Go Caravan Insurance approves a claim for partial loss to your caravan and/or annex and they choose to repair it, you can obtain a quote from a licensed repairer. Let’s Go Caravan Insurance reserves the right to get a second quote. It includes moving your caravan to another repairer acceptable to both of you. An assessor will review the quote(s) before authorisation of repairs.
