Great low-cost campground.

Wooroonook Lakes Campground is situated 13km west of Charlton offering a lot of water activities such as swimming, fishing, and boating. It also has friendly powered sites that can be accessed by motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents.

This is an area that will cater for people who enjoy bird life enjoying the lake. Reading a book on the shoreline etc. Kids have a playground to entertain them. The lake is supposed to have fish in it so the fisher people amongst us can have a go at catching tea. The facilities are in very good condition and very well maintained. This area is a donation fee for the type of stay you want there are power and water site and also free camping areas to enjoy each have a different fee. There is no dump point as yet. It is well worth a stop for a few days of R&R.
