Nestled in the shelter of Wedge Bay only 10 minutes from the famous Port Arthur Historic Site is the popular White Beach Tourist Park. The park is the perfect spot to base yourself to take in the best of the Tasman Peninsula.

White Beach Tourist Park offers family-friendly, Camping, Caravan, and Cabin Accommodation set in a magnificent location right on the beach that lives up to its name. This waterfront oasis is the ideal option for everyone seeking a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, coupled with quality facilities who want to enjoy a scenic holiday in the untouched island state of Tasmania.

The park offers spacious powered, grassy sites for caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and big rigs, and sizeable flat grassy tent sites that are close to the beach and the children’s playground. Well-maintained amenities are close to all sites and include a clean well-equipped camp kitchen with a dining area and a really comfortable space to relax or enjoy a meal or watch a bit of TV. They also offer boat storage a shop with all the basics, gas bottle swap or refill, and a book exchange. The full list of features is indicated in the features section below.

If your looking for a night out of the van or to catch up with family or friends who don’t have a caravan there are a configuration of cabins available to suit couples, families, or groups. The cabins are all self-contained with en-suites and perfect for short or long-term stays. Some of the family cabins have recently been modernised as well as the very popular Couples Cabin.

White Beach is an ideal location to stay all-year-round with the area offering a range of bush-walking tracks and the park boasting direct access to the beach for swimming, kayaking, and fishing and the convenience of a boat ramp close by.

The park is perfectly located close to two local IGA stores, a Medical Centre, Chemist, Bakery/Takeaway, Bottle Shop, Bank, and Post Office for any medical or additional supplies you may need.

HOW TO GET THERE
Located on the western side of the Tasman Peninsula. If travelling from Port Arthur, on the (B37) Nubeena/ Port Arthur Road, White Beach is accessed by turning left onto White Beach Road approx 200 metres past the Seabreeze IGA. If travelling via Nubeena, after approx 2 klms turn right into White Beach Road. Follow for 1.3km to the entrance which is on your right.

SITE ACCESS
The entrance is directly off Whites Beach Road and is sealed and level.  Once in, there is a pullover area just near reception.

$6/night for children 2-16yrs old only

RULES
Dogs and Campfires: ONLY by Prior Approval and Strict Regulations Apply.
Dogs may be considered but only after Easter Tuesday to 30th November.
Management MUST approve the stay before arrival.
Must be in a motorhome or caravan.

Please Note: Anyone arriving with a dog without prior approval or not in a motorhome or caravan will not be admitted.

Campfires: Will be considered over winter. Ozpig/converted gas bottle or fire pit type (no drums). Must be 30cm off the ground. Provide own firewood.
