This help-out opportunity is organised via Outback Links. It is a great opportunity to Help Out someone in the Warwick area. In return, you will be provided with a place to park your RV at no cost. In some cases, but not all, facilities including power and water may be available. This will be confirmed upon application.

Activities: Lovely couple in their seventies run a Folk Festival in their community every September.

They would really appreciate a hand with some of the preparation work that needs to be completed for the festival and then during the festival. They are dedicated Landcare members, so they have many trees, and wildlife corridors and protect Koala families, birdlife, and more!

Tasks can include: Stage setup, mowing, cleaning up before the event, hanging lights and decorations, and helping with the gardens. Help at the gates, with parking, and any fires. Clean up after the event, packing away equipment and stage.

An exciting opportunity to grab a few friends and lend a hand at this fun-filled event!

When: 12/9/2022 – 21/9/2022
Duration: 7-10 Days/Flexible
Accommodation: BYO for onsite camping or stay at the local pub in town

IMPORTANT NOTE – before volunteering all volunteers need to be registered with Outback Links and have an up-to-date Working with Children Check and National Police Check. To volunteer, please apply here and contact Outback Links ASAP to arrange the checks, as they can take some time to process.
