Located beside the Peel River in the tranquil surrounds of historic Nundle. This picturesque park provides a haven for guests to enjoy the beautiful lawns and abundant trees and is surrounded by the Hills of Gold.
The park caters for a full range of travellers with a large area out the back catering for all size rigs and adjoining the river. The sites are all level and spacious all with power and water. There is a separate level further up for smaller caravans and motorhomes.
Your hosts are Heath & Kim have owned the park for 11 years, are very welcoming and still take great pride in it, which is reflected in the appearance of the park. It is spotlessly clean and very well maintained and has some great facilities including a great camp kitchen, complimentary tennis courts, and its own Visitor Information Centre right on site.
There is also a range of onsite cabins should you wish to have a break from the van and stretch out, or if you are looking to meet up with family or friends who might not have a caravan.
The park is centrally located within an easy walking distance of craft, antiques and houseware shops, museums, restaurants, pristine swimming pool, the famous Woollen Mill and the legendary Peel Inn.
Nundle was a former Gold Mining town in the 1800’s and still retains much of its history. The town comes alive with various festivals throughout the year, especially in January when the spirit of the Tamworth Country Music festival spills over into Nundle in the form of the Hats Off Festival.

THINGS TO DO
There is an abundance of things to see and do around Nundle.
In the park itself, there is a tennis court and they also have some fossicking equipment so you can try your hand at Gold Panning in the stream at the back of the park.
Also in the park is an amazing Tourist Information centre with over 1000 samples of Gemstones and Minerals from around the area and other parts of the world.
There is a Gold Museum in town which dates back to the 1880’s and has parts of the old gold mine, including an old mine shaft, built into it. The Woollen Mill is worth a visit with free tours weekdays at 2pm. It is the largest operating mill still in existence.
There are some great historic buildings in town, including the legendary Peel Inn, the only remaining pub out of 16 that were originally in town, and Odgers & McClelland Exchange Store still in the original 1880s building is a must see.
Nearby there is the Chaffy Dam, Sheba Dam, and Hanging Rock, (not the one from the Movie), which are all worth a trip to see. Also nearby is a Trout farm where you can try your hand at catching one of these delicacies.
