ABOUT US
Atherton Supa IGA in the Silo Central Shopping Centre is a great place to shop for all your grocery items and speciality foods. This internationally recognised store is owned by locals Mike Shake and his daughter Tearne who welcome caravanners and travellers alike having now extended their welcome with a Travellers Discount to all Full Range Camping Club Members.

Open 7 days a week from 7am -8pm the store is designed with the shopper in mind, with its wide spacious aisles and all products beautifully laid out and displayed. It is easy to see why they were awarded Australia’s IGA International Retailer of the Year in 2011.

Mike, Tearne and their staff specialise in friendly customer service and stock everything including a full line supermarket range, a huge fresh produce section, butcher shop, bakery and gourmet deli. There is also a large range of speciality products including continental lines, health and allergy foods.

With as many local products in the store as possible, this is an ideal place to get your supply of fresh local goods, including a variety of coffees grown locally from Jacques, Arabic or Tichum Creek, and the creamiest Nth Qld milk products from Mungalli and Malanda Milk.  There are also, chutneys from Atherton, chocolate from Yungaburra, cookies from Kuranda and pasta from Ingham. So this is the ideal place to stock up on everything you need before heading off to your next location.

HOW TO GET THERE
Atherton is located on the tablelands above Cairn, between Mareeba & Milla Milla.  You can follow the Kennedy Highway in from the North of South, or there are several hinterland roads from the east or west. The Supa IGA is part of the Silo Central Shopping Centre. From the main street of town, Herberton Road, find the roundabout and turn into Silo Road.

SITE ACCESS
If you are in a caravan or motorhome there is allocated caravan parking at the rear of the store. To access this drive towards the end of Silo Road and you will see a sign that reads Caravans Welcome.  Enter the main car park and head toward the back where you will find plenty of room to park the Caravan or a large motorhome.

If you’re staying at a nearby caravan park or campground, you can drive in and use the dedicated car park at the rear of the store, or there is plenty of street parking.
