Robert Hindmarsh Rest Area is a large, level, gravel site that can accommodate any size of rigs and ample turning room. The area provides overnight free camp with clean basic facilities. The site is the perfect stopover if you’re travelling through Chittering.
HOW TO GET THERE
Wannamal is 30km North of Bindoon or 61km South of Moora on the Bindoon-Moora Road.
SITE ACCESS
Access is direct off Bindoon-Moora Road and there is a wide entrance at the Eastern side of the road which leads to the level gravel area.

There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the local town.

The Bindoon area has many attractions including:
Bindoon Arts & Craft Centre: Bindoon Chitterbug Gallery & Gift Shop; Blackboy Ridge Walk Trail; Chittering Museum Bindoon and Outback Splash at the Maze.
