BEAUTIFUL NATURAL SERENITY!

Gogeldrie Riverside Park offers generous tent and caravan sites set among the beautifully maintained shady trees and lawn areas. It is an ideal location for camping, caravanning, or a relaxing picnic. Motorhomes are very welcome. The sites are conveniently located with easy access to the Murrumbidgee River for fishing, boating, and bushwalking. Located only a 15-minute drive from Leeton, Gogeldrie Riverside Park is a magnet for visitors who flock to the wide-open spaces and family-friendly activities on offer. The boat ramp makes this spot perfect for fishing, water-skiing, and all kinds of paddling. Let the kids run and play within the safe confines of our park and cook up a barbecue at the end of a big day. The park is only a stone’s throw away from the region’s newest visitor attraction Whitton Malt House, Southern Cotton gin, Altina Wildlife Park as well as backs onto neighbouring  Murrumbidgee Valley National Parkland.

THINGS TO DO
From camping and summer fun at Gogeldrie Riverside Park to Leeton’s rich art deco heritage, you’ll never be short of things to do in Leeton Shire. Nature-lovers delight in the stunning Fivebough Wetlands year-round, a haven for avid birdwatchers. Another must for visitors is the Leeton Museum and Gallery. Admire the juxtaposition of modern spaces against the State Heritage-listed building and dive into the story of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and Leeton’s significance.

If you’re staying the night, Leeton’s nightlife won’t disappoint. Dine out in style at French and Italian restaurants. Peek into the past when you visit the historic township of Whitton. In Memorial Park, see the monument to the pioneers of Whitton, the new Whitton Water Tower artwork, and don’t forget to check out Charred Memories which form part of the Lyrics, Landscapes, and Lintels Public Art Trail, which can be downloaded via the izi.Travel mobile app.
