The pet friendly park accommodates tents, caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes and RV’s. There is an abundance of outdoor activities in the park and surround area from bush walking, horse riding and boating, to fishing in one of the many popular trout streams. Take a short leisurely walk to the lakeside boat ramp where you can swim, fish or just relax with a picnic by the shade of a tree.
Under Renovation, this popular park boasts many refurbished and brand new facilities, including the recently completed camp kitchen and undercover BBQ area with plenty of seating to share a story or two with fellow campers. The kids to have not been forgotten and will enjoy the new playground complete with a brand new jumping pillow.
Although the front entrance and reception are looking a little tired right now, they are next on the list for renovations, so don’t let that deter you from driving in and staying. Campers and travellers can keep up to date with all its latest projects and 5 star reviews on their Facebook Page.
Khancoban Caravan Park is tucked away and secluded but at the same time only a few minutes away by foot to the towns centre and the Alpine Inn where you can enjoy a great meal.
