This camp site is located within a State Forest in Victoria. It comes under the Control of DELWP. Whilst in some areas of State forest, there are serviced campsites, generally State forest camping areas have minimal facilities. Typically campsites will offer basic pit toilet facilities, picnic tables, fireplaces and low level interpretation, however some will offer a clearing and little else. For this reason it is best to be self-sufficient and come prepared.

FRC are still in the process of obtaining more information specific to this particular camp site.

This free campground stretches for several hundred metres along the King River, between the river and Wangaratta-Whitfield Rd. There is access at both ends of the reserve. Long drop toilets are provided. Lovely riverside camping. Main downside when I was there was traffic noise when cars and trucks were driving past.
