Broome Camel Safaris – The Camels in Blue!

Broome is on one of the most iconic locations in Western Australia. It’s a place that many campers and caravanners travel to just to enjoy the remote beauty and unique experiences. One amazing experience in Broome includes being able to ride a Camel on the Beach at Sunset.

Alison Bird, known around Broome as the Camel Lady, has been involved with camels for over 30 years. Her camels are all part of the family and she has a name for each and every one. Knowing the area and the camels so well, Alison and her team offer you a safe, informative and very unique experience along the famous Cable Beach.

There are a variety of tours to choose from, including Morning, Pre-Sunset and Sunset Tours that range from 30 min to an hour. All details are available on the website via the link below. Make sure you bring along a camera or take advantage of the professional photography service they have available.

Apart from the discount available to Free Range Camping club members, there are other special offers available including, a FREE pair of sterling silver freshwater pearl earrings from Dahlia Designs for all the ladies that ride with Broome Camel Safaris.
Visit the website for other special offers.

You can catch the town bus or ask the taxi driver to drop you at the Cable Beach Access Ramp.

SITE ACCESS
Parking is available at Cable Beach Club but this area can be full especially during peak season times. It might be best to leave the caravan behind.
