Hello and welcome to the first major newsletter of 2018. The year is off to a flying start for us all at FRC, so fast in fact that two months have gone past and I am just getting the first major newsletter out.

We are growing
Slowly but surely our business directory is growing. We now have over 160 business listings in the directory and we are adding to it every day.
Our businesses range over a variety of categories relevant to Campers and Caravanners, from Groceries to Caravan Repairs, Meals and Attractions, with many making offers and discounts to our Premium Club Members.

Rest Areas -vs- Free Camps – Fact & Fiction - Part 2
In part 2 of our Rest Areas –vs – Free Camps article, Keith Thompson, our roving FRC Ambassador looks further into the dilemma of what is considered a Rest Area as opposed to a Free Camp. Sheffield & Railton, TAS
I can still recall our first trip to Tasmania, way back in 2012, and in particular two towns that stuck in our minds. Sheffield, known as the ‘Town of Murals’ is a must see with some amazing artwork adorning the towns buildings. Only 10km away is the neighbouring town of Railton, known as the ‘Town of Topiary’ where living plant sculptures line the streets.
Both towns offer a unique experience to the traveller and well worth a stopover, with plenty to see and do, they are both RV Friendly and offer several options to stay for Campers.

Have you ever thought of travelling around Australia on your own, let alone tackling the famous Gibb River Road, one of Australia’s most rugged and isolated stretches. For many a daunting task, but not for our next adventurer - Jo Drury. Jo has been travelling Solo for quite some time now and has many amazing adventures to recount.
