Hi everyone, it’s hard to believe a month has flown by since our last newsletter and we are well and truly into Spring.  With the weather warming up, it is traditionally a time where those that migrated north for the winter are thinking of heading south, but those more adventurous may choose to stay for the wet season.  Wherever you are or no matter your style of camping, we hope you are gearing up for your next camping or caravanning adventure.

How to use your FRC Digital Membership Card

We have had quite a few Premium Club Members asking about when their Membership Card will arrive.  The answer is, you already have it.  The member card is actually built into the App.

In an effort to avoid yet another plastic card, and for security reasons, we have provided a digital member card, which is time and date stamped, with provision to add your photo.

There are several ways to display your card on the screen, which you can then use at any participating Caravan Park, Campground or Business to claim your offer or discount.

To access your card, click on the Member icon at the bottom left of screen. This will bring up the Member Page with a list of the participating FRC Business Partners offering a discount within 200km of your current location.

Then just click on your Name or Member Number at the top of the screen to display the card.

Temora, NSW

Located in the Riverina area of NSW, north of Wagga Wagga, is the town of Temora.  Filled with a plethora of things to do as well as so many places to camp.  From Free Camps to fully serviced Caravan Parks, Temora is a diverse region to explore.  Known as an agricultural town, its fields of Canola highlight the area yellow.  It is steeped in history, and well known as an aviation centre, including a world class Aviation museum.  There are also several small villages to explore in the region including Ariah Park & Springdale.

First Time Motorhome Adventure

Ever wondered how to get an un-interrupted view of Uluru when there is a crowd?  Or how to NOT empty your caravan toilet cassette!

In this story we have a light hearted look at our time in the red centre a few years ago.  We decided to let the folks tag along for their first adventure in a motorhome.   And an adventure it was, with dad scaring tourists away with his pink umbrella, interrupting the tour guide and showing us how to not empty a caravan toilet cassette.

Camp Oven Cooking with OzWit

Everyone loves a great Camp Oven meal, but there is a knack to it, and this month, we caught up with the Ozwit team who have mastered the art of Camp Oven cooking.

NAS - Complete Satelitte TV systems for Caravans & Motorhomes

For those on the road fulltime, or for those times when you just can’t miss the latest sporting events, apart from your TV, you will need GOOD reception.  But, travelling around our beautiful country this is not always guaranteed.  Unless of course, you have a Satellite TV set up.  Thanks to the VAST network, and provided you have the correct equipment, you can access Free-to-Air TV wherever you are in Australia.

But with so many different Satellite systems to choose from, you may be wondering which is best for you.   We did some research on this ourselves last year, and got Keith, our resident tech guru and FRC Ambassador to check out a few systems.
